Need to change or cancel your order?
Contact Hypercharge Support as soon as possible. If your charger has not shipped, your order can be cancelled and your refundable deposit returned.
Once your charger has shipped or been installed, your order is managed under the Home Club program terms. Your $299 refundable deposit is automatically returned after 1,500 kWh of home charging.
A $299 deposit is collected at checkout when you join Hypercharge Home Club.
Your deposit is refunded after 1,500 kWh of eligible home charging, provided the milestone is reached within 24 months of the later of the date your deposit is paid or the date your charger is delivered. If you do not reach 1,500 kWh within that period, Hypercharge may retain your deposit in full, subject to applicable law and any non-waivable statutory rights.
You’ll start earning $0.03/kWh from your first eligible home charge, then earn $0.11/kWh after reaching 1,500 kWh of eligible home charging.
Choose J1772 for most non-Tesla EVs, or NACS for Tesla vehicles and EVs with a NACS charge port.
Both options support Level 2 home charging through Hypercharge Home Club.

How do I choose between J1772 and NACS?
Choose the connector that matches your EV’s charging port. If you are unsure, check your vehicle specifications before ordering.
What is the difference between plug-in and hardwired?
The plug-in version connects to a compatible NEMA 14-50 outlet and is ideal for homes that already have one installed. The hardwired version is wired directly into your electrical system and is best for customers who want a permanent installation and the highest charging output.
What electrical setup do I need?
The 40A plug-in model requires at least a 50A breaker, and the 48A hardwired model requires at least a 60A breaker. A licensed electrician can confirm what is right for your home.
What if my home does not have enough electrical capacity for EV charging?
A licensed electrician can assess your electrical panel and recommend the appropriate solution. If you select the Hypercharge Preferred Partner option at checkout, the installer will complete this assessment for you and advise on any required upgrades or load management solutions.
Do I need Wi-Fi to use the charger?
Yes - Wi-Fi and internet connectivity are required for participation in Hypercharge Home Club and for tracking eligible charging sessions, earnings, and deposit refund progress.
Do you provide installation services?
Installation is not included, but Hypercharge can help connect you with a Hypercharge Preferred Partner if you would like installation assistance. Just select the option at checkout.
What warranty is included?
Hypercharge Home includes a 2-year warranty.
